This turned out to be 4 solid days of track time. That’s a lot. Nothing eventful other than clean races and lots of fun. But, I was pretty tired after 4 days.
The bigger news for the NASA weekend was that Chris signed up to take the test for his racing license. That turns the weekend into a more stressful one (for him) because if you have any mess ups, you don’t get the license. But, he ended up passing with ease. Afterwards, he said “OK, now I need a race car!” What could I say? (Me and my big mouth!)
Unfortunately, as we were looking for suitable cars, my wife weighed in stating that she didn’t want another trailer and tow vehicle in the yard, so he needed to be able to drive it to and from the track. So, we began looking for a race car that he could drive to the track.
HA! Fat chance...
